Every week we highlight a hybrix feature. This week we dive into: Decentralized Exchanges vs Centralized Exchanges

We Once Were Blissful
When we went public, hybrix started listing the HY token on both CEXs and DEXs (centralized exchanges and decentralized exchanges). We believed that listing on both would increase the visibility of the token and therefore create a greater, stronger and more liquid market for it. We were looking to attract users, and thought we could find them on both types of platforms. As time went by, however, that tune would change.

First let us talk a bit about decentralized…

Every week we highlight a hybrix feature. This week we dive into: Swap Options

For some of our community swapping is not new. They have already seen the development of our swap system from the start, with the evolution of the user interface and buttons. In this feature friday we go over the different swap options to bring some clarity to their uses.

Using the hybrix wallet there are different ways to transfer your assets between ledgers. You are also able to access and use these different assets all from your wallet. …

This week we will take a look in something a bit different than usual. We want to take a look at one of the most unique features that hybrix wallet has to offer.

Adding Custom Functionalities to hybrix Wallet

You can add custom functionalities to your hybrix wallet. These functions can be added by so called modules, that you can integrate into your wallet. This is a bit technical so you have to know your way around with JavaScript, Qrtz (hybrix scripting language) and Github. However, with some practise of these principles the possibilities are endless!

Free and Open Source is King

It all has to do with the open source character…

Earn HY by Staking

In a previous Feature Friday we made a comparision between the different features of HY spread over several chains. We mentioned that BNB.HY on Binance Smart Chain had the unique characteristic of staking. Here’s how that works.

The HY token smart contract on Binance Smart Chain is designed to redistribute 3% of its value on every transaction. This percentage gets spread to three separate targets.

The fee is equally spread as follows:

  • 1% is burned, increasing scarcity
  • 1% is returned to the liquidity supply pool
  • 1% is returned…

Linking wallets by exporting private keys

We believe everyone must be able to choose their tools of preference and for example have the freedom to decide which wallet they want to use for their digital finance. We know the benefits of the hybrix wallet: non-custodial, deterministic, open source, secure, swapping possibilities and the power to hold all kinds of tokens on many chains.

Still, perhaps you need other services that are not available on hybrix (yet), or simply like to use another wallet. …

Unique characteristics of HY on different chains

The hybrix hydra token (HY) is a unified asset. This means it has token representations on several chains that are connected and unified into one asset. Moving value between chains can be done easily through the hybrix wallet, or by using third-party bridges. HY shows the power of a hybrix unified asset. Every chain or ledger has its own unique properties, and one can choose what to use and how.

Our latest HY expansion is on Binance Smart Chain. HY has a special function here: you are able…

Every week we highlight a hybrix feature. This week we dive into: Qrtz multi-ledger programming language

More to play with

Besides using the wallet you can use Qrtz to build applications. This way you can dive into the world of decentralized development, no matter if you are an entry level developer or an experienced veteran. When it comes to the multi-ledger programming there is much room to discover the endless features of Qrtz.

Over at api.hybrix.io/help/qrtz you can read about all the available Qrtz commands, what they do and how the scripting language works.

Download our node, and you could be running your own…

Every week we highlight a hybrix feature. This week we dive into:

Get some HY! from the wallet

We want to make it as easy as possible to join the HY tribe. That’s why we integrated a button in the wallet that enables you to get HY instantly by swapping it with for example XRP, TOMO, BCH or ETH.

By making your first HY swapping transaction you’ll get familiar with how easy swapping can be. Once you experienced the ease of swapping from your own wallet, you never want to go back to cumbersome ways of trading where you have to transfer across different platforms everytime you want to switch between tokens.

Do you want a white labeled wallet in the branding of your favorite token? Together we adopt as many communities. Start building together, hybrix!

Every week we highlight a hybrix feature. This week we dive into:

Export preferences

A wallet is something personal. It’s a place where you store your belongings. Because of the deterministic nature of the wallet, the hybrix wallet doesn’t store any of your data. The wallet enables you to store your own preferences, or to import preferences such as assets you have added to your favorites list. Your determistic account can be opened on any hybrix node but your preferences may need to be migrated.

You can find this function when you click on the little hamburger icon, and then the button…
